Cancellation & Refund Policy

A standard B.A.R.K.™ booking requires a 25% booking retainer when the client accepts an approved service quote.

The remaining balance is due 48 hours before service begins.

Bookings confirmed within 48 hours of service require full payment at confirmation.

7 OR MORE DAYS BEFORE SERVICE: Amounts paid are refundable.

72 HOURS TO LESS THAN 7 DAYS: The 25% booking retainer is non-refundable. Other amounts paid toward unperformed services will be refunded.

24 TO 72 HOURS: 50% of the total scheduled booking becomes non-refundable. Amounts paid beyond that amount for unperformed services will be refunded.

LESS THAN 24 HOURS, NO-SHOW, OR FAILURE TO PROVIDE AGREED ACCESS: The scheduled booking is non-refundable.

B.A.R.K.™ may review documented emergencies or exceptional circumstances individually and may, in its discretion, offer a partial refund, service credit, rescheduling accommodation, or other resolution.

If B.A.R.K.™ cancels a confirmed service and cannot provide an appropriate replacement or acceptable alternative, payments for the unperformed service will be refunded.

Changes to scheduled services, timing, care scope, animals covered, location, or requested support remain subject to provider availability, safety review, and updated pricing.

Additional services or increased care requirements may require an additional payment.

Reductions or cancellations are subject to the cancellation schedule above.

Veterinary services, emergency transportation, specialty transportation, replacement supplies, boarding, parking, tolls, or other extraordinary third-party expenses are not included unless expressly stated in the service quote.

Any authorized additional costs remain the client's responsibility.

Approved refunds will be returned through the original payment method whenever reasonably practicable.

Non-recoverable third-party payment-processing costs may be handled in accordance with applicable law and the applicable payment provider's terms.
